Bargain Hotel Guide

We are a family of 5. Self, Wife, two children (15/12) and one 5 year old child. We are planning a 3 night / 4 day getaway to Yercaud (from Chennai) between 19-Oct and 22-Oct.

Cost is not a limitation and we want the best comfort, and the best views and the best vegetarian food. Which hotel among Sterling, Grange, Grand Palace et al is the top of the heap? We have of course browsed the internet and obtained details but are unable to make the assessment of which is the best pad.

Could the experts advise us please….

I’m going to a concert on the upper west side and I was looking at hotels in the area, and the prices are insane! So I was thinking of staying maybe in NJ and taking the train into the city, and then taking a taxi back late at night. How much would a taxi cost to drive to, let’s say Hoboken? Are there other areas outside of Manhattan where I get a decent rate on a hotel room and still be able to take a taxi back? I’m looking to spend $150 max. on the hotel and $50 max. on the taxi ride back. Thanks!

I’m going to be booking a nights stay at the Tropicana in Atlantic City. Are there any special promotion codes that I can use to receive something in return. My last trip to AC, the hotel which we stayed at offered a $25 playing card, does the tropicana offer a similar reward to those which stay at the hotel? Thanks!

I am going to the coast for my birthday and i want to stay at a good, cheap hotel for a night between July 9-15. I have looked all over the internet and the cheapest one I have found is a hundred dollars a night, and that is too much for my budget. Two adults and three kids. I want to stay on the central coast, Newport or Lincoln City areas. Any suggestions would be very greatly appreciated, thank you very much!

Ok so i work the mariott hotel, and i have a friend that wants work there bust she doesn’t have a valid social security. She does have one though but not valid!!! She’s an illegal alien. I really want to help her but i’m not sure if can work there. I don’t think require papers especially if she’s going to be working in the restaurant. Does any know for sure? Please help!

I live in Australia and all airlines have ceased contracting to hotels in Philippines. I have been to 3 travel agents and they all say that they can book me flights to Philippines but not accomodation.

It is not possible to get any brochures on Philippines. They advised all airlines has ceased involvment in promoting the country.

How can I book a hotel besides calling them directly? Are there any internet sites?

My boyfriend and I are planning a vacation in October of this year and can’t seem to figure out which hotel to stay in. We would like all-inclusive and are willing to spend the money for a good place but nothing seems that great. Does anyone have any suggestions that has been to Antigua? Also, we looked into Sandals but we are reading such mixed reviews. Has anyone been there? If so, how was it? Thanks for your help!
